Newsletter Advertising
The Kemp Mill Civic
Association Newsletter is published four times a year. It is mailed to 3,000
homes and apartments in the Kemp Mill area. The newsletter provides valuable
news and information to residents. Ads in the newsletter support the
publication's cost and promote businesses in the local area. The ad rates for
2008 are:

All newsletters will be
published in black and white only.
Size-specific specifications
(These dimensions will
allow the editor to add the KMCA header and other format requirements so that the
ad page looks similar to all other pages.)
For full page ads, vertical dimensions cannot exceed 9 ½ inches and horizontal dimensions cannot exceed 7 ½ inches.
For half page ads, vertical
dimensions cannot exceed 4 ¾ inches and horizontal dimensions cannot exceed 7 ½
inches.
For quarter page ads, the dimensions may be either 2 3/8 inches x 7 ½ inches or 4 ¾ x 3 ¾ inches.
For 2 x 2 and 3 x 3 inch ads, the
dimensions are self explanatory.
General Specifications:
The original advertisement needs to
be in black and white only, regardless of ad size or electronic vs. paper
original. If for some reason the advertiser chooses to submit a colored
original, KMCA reserves the right to pass on any printer charge required to
convert it into a presentable black and white published advertisement.
If it is an electronic submission,
it can be in the following software formats:
if text only copy: Word Perfect or Microsoft Word formats are acceptable.
if
text plus images or artwork: CANNOT be submitted in Word, but can be
in WordPerfect, JPG, TIFF, PNG or PDF
delivery
of electronic files can be via an e-mail to the editor at
vicepresident@kempmill.org or on a
small floppy disk or CD
Paper copy submissions are fine,
however, if original is in color, please bear in mind the possibility of an
added charge for conversion to black and white.
